For those who want to rock

Fine cracks in the lacquer, the patina of a nitro finish that has aged gracefully, and the playing marks from years of intensive use reflect a fulfilled guitar life on the stages of this world. This aura is not only a visual experience – it is music history at your fingertips and inspires you to find your own way in the footsteps of the greats.

Like all Maybach guitars, each Albatroz 65 in aged look is sealed with a  thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer. Plus: It is authentically aged by experienced guitar builders with great attention to detail: True Vintage from the very first minute.

IF YOU CAN REALLY MASTER THIS GUITAR CLASSIC AND PLAY ALL ITS SOUND FACETS, YOU WILL BE RICHLY REWARDED.

The MAYBACH® Albatroz

First introduced in 1961, it’s hard to imagine the guitar landscape without this solid-body electric guitar, which had established itself on the market as of 1965. Originally conceived as the next step in the evolution of the then-weakening LP style, the SG-style solid-body guitar was indeed far ahead of the design language of its time.

The base of the SG-style recipe is a solid mahogany body with a flat top, double cutaway, and contoured body edges for better ergonomics and exciting looks.

Our Maybach Albatroz 65 sincerely breathes the dynamic spirit of this extraordinary guitar design. It lets you feel why free spirits such as Robbie Krieger, Toni Iommi, Pete Townsend, Angus Young, and Carlos Santana built their careers on this guitar design.
