When this guitar design first saw the light of day in 1955, it was primarily intended to address kids and students. But it took only a short time before full-grown professionals surrendered to the charm of simplicity and turned this student guitar into a fiery Rock ’n‘ Roll beast.
Mahogany for the body and the glued neck, an excellent wraparound bridge, plus real good pickups like Amber P90 or humbucker, is the magic formula by which every Lester JR is flexing its muscles.
