Each guitar is a legend of its own

The year is 1954, and the guitar pioneers hit fresh, unknown sounds on some new instruments in our galaxy. Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and many more heroes gave birth to Rock‘ n‘ Roll with a loud big bang and helped a young, rebellious generation to their philosophy of life.

Every day we do our best to revive this unique spirit of the pioneers of electric guitar in each and every Maybach instrument.

THIS GUITAR DESIGN FIRST APPEARED IN 1952 - YET IT ONLY BECAME AN ICONIC INSTRUMENT WITH THE RISE OF BLUES ROCK AND THE CREATIVE GUITAR HEROES PLAYING ON THOSE LEGENDARY 60s RECORDINGS.

The MAYBACH® Lester

This guitar design came on the market in a version not thought through to the end in 1952 but was given its due later with the emergence of British Blues-Rock in the 1960s through the incredibly creative guitar work of young English guitarists. With unbelievable sounds for the time, they celebrated moving music that forever etched the nimbus of this type of guitar into music and guitar history.

The Maybach Lester was modeled after the dimensions used between 1957 and 1959 in terms of body and neck profiles. And the hand-wound Amber „Spirit of ’59“ pickups deliver exactly the no-frills rock sound that the great guitarists of history thrilled us with.
