Big bad bass

The Motone recipe is pure bass tradition. It features American red alder for the body, an American rockmaple neck, and an Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) fretboard. The bolt-on neck-body joint creates the base for the powerful, growly tone you’ve come to expect from such classics. The slightly rounded edges of the fingerboard give the neck a pleasant feel and make for a comfortable bass experience.

THE MAYBACH MOTONE BASSES ARE TRUE ICONS FOR ALL LOW-FREQUENCY ADDICTS.

The MAYBACH®
Motone

The GOTOH GB 640 4LN tuners are not only about 40 grams lighter than comparable tuners, but they are also built of much higher quality and provide a precise tuning of the bass. Jason Lollar’s pickups are our favorite for the Maybach Motone basses. They deliver the full range of sounds in an impressive quality that will blow your mind.
