Tea Time with a Legend: The Maybach Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter was commissioned to mark the 160th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Originally published in London in 1865, the work remains a cultural touchstone. This instrument serves as a physical tribute to that milestone, completed for the 2025 anniversary year. It is a singular creation representing the apex of the Maybach Masterbuilt series.

Construction was led by Nick Page and Kian Farzar. Page handled the lutherie and structural dynamics. Farzar executed the visual design. This is a strict collaboration between two disciplines. The result unites precision lutherie with distinct visual character, prioritising the guitar as a serious instrument first.
