Maybach guitars in Aged Look are sealed with a very thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer and are authentically aged by experienced guitar builders with loving attention to detail: True Vintage, from the very first minute.
if you can master this classic guitar and play its sound facets, you will be rewarded truly.
The MAYBACH® Albatroz
First introduced in 1961 and established until 1965, this solid body electric guitar has become an integral part of the guitar landscape. Originally conceived in the spirit of the LP Junior as a re-contouring of the weakening LP style on the market, the SG style solid body guitar was ahead of the design language of its time.
The basis of the SG style recipe is a solid flat top mahogany body with double cutaway and contoured body edges for better ergonomics. Jazz guitarist Lester Polsfuss didn’t want to be associated with this avant-garde double cutaway design, unknowingly giving us another player on the stage of rock history.
Whether Robby Krieger, Toni Lommi, Pete Townshend, Angus Young or Carlos Santana – all these legends played the modern classic in different designs.
