DaVinci Bass

DaVinci Bass

The Maybach DaVinci Bass is an extraordinary custom shop 4-string instrument that takes inspiration from the upright bass while embracing modern electric bass design. With a semi-hollow swamp ash body and a solid carved Alpine spruce top featuring F-holes, it combines classic acoustic resonance with electric presence. Its neck-through construction of 5-piece American maple and American walnut, paired with an ebony fingerboard and extended scale, gives rich sustain, balanced dynamics, and clarity that bridges vintage character with contemporary tone.

Who this guitar is for?
The DaVinci Bass is for players who want a sophisticated, artistic silhouette paired with a deep, articulate low-end response. It suits modern jazz, fusion, and progressive rock styles, particularly for bassists who prioritize clear note definition, rich harmonic overtones, and an instrument that feels perfectly balanced and resonant during long sessions.
