The base of the Maybach Marilyn is its one-piece solid body with a carved mahogany back, which is capped with a carved solid spruce or curly maple top, depending on your preference. To let the sound characteristics of this wood ring freely, the Marilyn is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer in exciting Sunburst or elegant Natural Amber. As with all Maybach Guitars guitars, only sustainably sourced, well-seasoned tonewood is used for the Marilyn.

Marilyn
According to Maybach Guitars founder Toni Götz, the Marilyn is the most meticulously crafted guitar model in the Maybach portfolio, incorporating over three decades of experience in European guitar making. The feminine rounded body of the Marilyn meets a glued-in mahogany neck at the height of the 17th fret, adorned with a precious ebony fingerboard. The arched body shape with double cutaway guarantees the best playability even in the higher registers. Precise Gotoh machine heads ensure exact intonation and tuning stability. This is an excellent time to take a moment to appreciate the stunning beauty of this semi-acoustic guitar.
